Friday was just fabulous! I only had to work a half day and the weather was beautiful! 80+ degrees and not a cloud in sight! Ahhh! I will surely miss springtime in Arizona! Friday afternoon we dyed Easter eggs. 60, yes, 60 eggs to be exact! Mike's niece, nephew and 2 of his nephews friend's helped make a big mess and some great eggs! After our egg dying extravaganza, Mike and I rode our bikes to happy hour.
Saturday we woke up early and did a little Easter shopping. We also indulged in Starbucks, which I had given up for Lent! So tasty and delicious. I am soooo happy that Lent is over! After running errands, we went on a very long 3 hour hike. The weather was ideal, again. We both got a bit of color (pink) and a great workout. Saturday night we just laid low, watched Blue Collar Comedy Tour (Hutch got me hooked), nursed our sunburns and finished off some delicious wine that we brought back from Napa a few weekends ago. Peju Carnival and Peju Provence. I highly recommend both! Yumm!
Easter Sunday finished off our lovely, low key weekend. We slept in and ate way too much Easter candy. I made the most delicious egg salad sammies, which we enjoyed on the patio. I headed back to Old Town for a girl's night at my place. Emily had cooked up a storm. Heather, Emily and I enjoyed wayyy too much food, a few glasses of wine and played scrabble.
All in all, it was a great weekend! Looking forward to Miss Lindsey's visit this coming weekend.
